Our team members have an average of 14 years experience providing unparalleled service, and we have numerous industry certifications such as I-CAR Gold, I-CAR Platinum and ASE. We also are specially certified by many luxury vehicle manufacturers, including Audi, Jaguar, Aston Martin, Mercedes-Benz and Nissan. Our technicians perform the best work to meet the highest standards in automotive care and repair across the industry. We also encourage continued education, and our technicians receive ongoing training and certifications throughout their career with us.

Doy Dean Aycoth — Shop Foreman

With 30 years of professional experience, including ownership of various businesses and I-CAR training instruction, Dean specializes in frame repair and other collision restorations. Dean is I-CAR Platinum, Car-O-Liner / Chief Frame, Jaguar, Nissan and ASE certified. He is the only person in the state of NC in this field of work who has obtained all these different types of certifications in various areas of specialty. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing and serving on mission trips.

Brandon Brewer — Aluminum Repair Technician

Brandon has seven years experience in the automotive industry, with a specialization in aluminum repair. His experience and area of specialty includes, aluminum panels and structural damages, cosmetic straightening, aluminum MIG welding and more. He is certified in Automotive Steel MIG, aluminum design and repair and I-CAR Platinum. In his personal time, he enjoys shooting pool.

Robert Burkhart — Detailer

Robert has 30 years of experience in diverse roles within the automotive repair industry, including positions such as body technician, head painter, detailer and quality control manager. He is certified in ARMS management, I-CAR Platinum and RM Solid Gold. In his personal time, he enjoys writing and singing music, as well as playing guitar.

Michael Combs — Auto Body Technician

With 10 years of broad automotive experience gained while working in diverse roles in auto body shops, Mike's specialty is general automotive repair and restoration. He is both I-CAR Platinum and ASE certified, and his hobbies include cars, fishing and racing.

Philip Gavin — Mechanical Technician

With 13 years of professional automotive experience, five of them spent as a member of the Scott Auto Body team, Philip is a knowledgeable mechanical technician who specializes in all facets of automotive technical work. Philip is both I-CAR Platinum and Ford Stars certified, and he enjoys breeding pit bulls and building motorcycles as hobbies.

Michael Hawkins — Maintenance Technician

Michael has one year of experience at Scott Auto Body. He has his certificates in both auto body repair and electrical systems, and he enjoys spending his spare time fishing, tinkering with electronics and listening to music.

Amy Haynes — Customer Service Representative

Amy has spent the past six years in various positions in auto body shops, gaining comprehensive knowledge of products and services that aid her in effectively performing her current role as customer service representative at Scott Auto Body. She spent three years as a parts manager and three years working as a service writer. She is I-CAR Platinum certified and enjoys gardening in her spare time.

Dave Heidrich — Damage Analysis Manager

With 10 years of work experience in diverse roles within the automotive industry, Dave is uniquely qualified to be Scott Auto Body's damage analysis manager. He has obtained an I-CAR Platinum certification, and enjoys caring for his two Great Danes and traveling for ministry in his personal time.

William Herrington — Auto Body Technician

William has been working in the auto body repair field for 26 years and has amassed a comprehensive knowledge and skills base for general automotive repair. He is both I-CAR Platinum and ASE certified, and his hobbies include jet-skiing and riding motorcycles.

Liz McDaniel — Estimator

With 16 years of professional experience, including 13 years spent at local independent auto body shop and four years at Scott Auto Body, Liz is an efficient estimator who knows the insurance claim and repair process, inside and out. In her personal time, she enjoys riding horses and attending NASCAR races.

Beth McMahan — Office Manager

Beth joined the Scott Auto Body team three years ago, at the inception of the company. She's been revolutionizing the organization ever since, with her effective practices and fourteen years of previous experience in this type of role. Beth's hobbies include taking Zumba classes and reading Sophie Kinsella books.

Dwayne McMahan — Parts Manager

Dwayne has occupied an array of roles within the automotive repair sector throughout the past 20 years. He gained extensive knowledge and skills in his five years with Mazda and Volkswagen, 10 years with Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep and five years general body shop experience. He is Chrysler Gold and ASE certified, and he enjoys playing golf, poker and baseball in his spare time.

Ian Monrad — Customer Service Representative

A member of the Scott Auto Body team for one year, Ian has thorough knowledge of customer service procedures and practices, automotive maintenance and basic IT functions. He is a Level 3 Chrysler certified technician, Mack A/C certified and I-CAR certified. In his personal time, he enjoys working on his car.

William Mullen — Aluminum Technician

William joined the Scott Auto Body team one year ago, directly from obtaining his technical degree from the Universal Technical Institute in Houston, TX, where he was ranked number one in his class. He has extensive training in a variety of automotive repair areas, though alumimum collision repair is his specialty. William is Mercedes-Benz Elite trained and I-CAR Platinum certified, and he enjoys outdoor activities in his spare time, including sports, camping and attending car shows.

Nicholas Charles Peleponuk — Painter / Trim-Out Technician

With 15 years of professional experience, including four years of auto body training, Nicholas is an expert in painting work. He is I-CAR Platinum certified and enjoys coin collecting, horticulture and bicycle riding in his personal time.

Cesar Tamariz Prado — Auto Body Technician

With 22 years of experience in painting and auto body repair, as well as plastic, metal and fiberglass restoration, Cesar is a highly skilled auto body technician. He is I-CAR certified in plastic repairs, and he has completed training in Volvo and steel GMA repairs. His enjoys many sporting activities and his hobbies include soccer, boxing and surfing.

Brian Shannon — Auto Body Technician

Brian has four years of broad automotive experience that he gained working in a variety of positions in auto body shops. He specializes in metal finishing work, damage analysis and painting. He obtained an auto body repair certification from Central Piedmont Community College, a Lincoln County Automotive Program certification for brakes and electrical systems and he is I-CAR Platinum certified. In his personal time, he enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding and wake boarding.

Robert Teachout — Auto Body Technician

With 31 years of experience honing his skills in general auto body work, Robert is truly an automotive Renaissance man; he specializes in performing a variety of car repair functions. Robert is both ASE and I-CAR Platinum certified, and he enjoys fishing in his spare time.
